When we set out to create our third collaboration with Southern California-based luxury eyewear brand SALT., we wanted to design a superior product geared toward an adventure-oriented person. There were problems we wanted to solve. Adventurous lifestyles often lead to broken sunglasses. With that in mind, we sourced innovative materials that would address that issue. For the bridge and top bar, we found “memory metal”—a material rarely used in premium eyewear—which bends and flexes, always returning to its original shape. Additionally, we sourced a brand-new type of silicone from the medical industry for the side shields, helping to create a frame both flexible and durable. The result of those thoughtful decisions is the Voyage Sunglass, a meticulously crafted piece of eyewear, ideal for those who subscribe to an active lifestyle while also caring about great design.

Constructed with Japanese titanium front frames and beta-titanium temples, the Voyage features polarized and photochromic lenses that change shade when exposed to light. The frames also feature vented side shields to reduce airflow and excessive sunlight while not obstructing your peripheral vision thanks to strategically sized holes, making the glasses ideal for motorcycling, boating, biking, and other activities. The custom silicone side shields make the sunglasses both sturdy and flexible. Additionally, the memory metal on the top bar and bridge creates a custom fit that puts almost no frame pressure on the face. Adjustable titanium nose pads add to the comfortable fit. The Voyage comes in four colorways: Black Sand with black side shield, Antique Silver with grey side shield, Antique Gold with black side shield, and Black Sand with red side shield. The glasses also come with a highly durable waterproof nylon case with dual-pocket construction for multiple frames, making it the ultimate traveling case. A branded cleaning cloth is also included.
