Mission Snow Shell

The Mission Snow Shell lives up to its name—it’s ready for whatever cold-weather mission you set it on. Constructed from a 3-layer GORE-TEX canvas shell and fully seam sealed (with custom-AETHER topography-printed seam tape), the Mission is waterproof, wind resistant, and chock-full of thoughtful details to ensure your experience on the mountain is all about the conditions and the terrain—not about your gear. The collar is insulated with 40 gram Primaloft® Bio® insulation—made from 100% post-consumer recycled fibers designed to return to materials found in nature—and extends past the center-front zipper to protect your face from the elements. 

There is a two-way weatherproof center-front zipper so you can be comfortable while on the lift, and a webbing puller on the zipper makes it easy to access with gloves on. The chest pockets and hand pockets feature concealed weatherproof zippers with webbing pullers, and there is a pass pocket on the sleeve for easy access to the lift or gondola. Additionally, the chest pocket flaps also close with Velcro®, offering one more place to stash necessities. There are also exposed weatherproof zippers at the left-front drop pocket, vertical back pocket, and the pit vents, which help with breathability on warm days or when hiking for turns. In an effort to consider even the smallest detail, there is articulation at the elbow for an ideal fit, and a super-soft brushed tricot lines the hand-pocket bags and can be found at the top of the zipper guard and the interior of the collar. The sleeves feature adjustable Velcro® closures at the openings and internal wind cuffs to keep cold from coming in. For big powder days, the Mission comes complete with a removable snow skirt, which can be easily taken out when it’s not needed. Other design details include a mesh google pocket on the wearer’s right side and a D-ring for your gloves on the interior hem. Additionally, an interior zippered chest pocket gives you a place to put a credit card or cash. For ultimate safety on the mountain, the Mission Snow Shell comes integrated with a RECCO® locator.
