Catalyst Snow Shell

When we wear-tested this jacket last season, we weren’t sure we could wait the year for it to come out. It was that good. Made from a 2-way stretch, 3-layer Schoeller® c_change® shell, the Catalyst is seam sealed and waterproof for ultimate protection no matter what Mother Nature throws at you. And the c_change® technology means the fabric adjusts its level of heat retention and breathability depending on the conditions. A clean center-front packet with a Velcro® closure maintains the Catalyst's sleek appearance, hiding a weatherproof zipper underneath. There are also weatherproof zippers at the chest, hand, and back pockets, as well as on the pass pocket on the wearer’s left sleeve. On days when you want to hike or when the temperature becomes spring-like, there are pit zips for added breathability. But when the weather is bad, the 3-point, adjustable, helmet-compatible hood has Cohaesive® cord locks allowing you to cinch it down and keep the elements out. No small detail was left behind. A contrast-color zipper tape at the wearer’s left chest pocket adds a touch of color to an otherwise sophisticated style. The interior of the collar features a soft, brushed-tricot that feels great against the face, and the same brushed tricot is in the pocket bags. The sleeve-cuffs feature an internal wind cuff to lock in your body heat, as well as an adjustable tab with a Velcro® closure so they can be adjusted to the wearer’s liking. To further guarantee a superior fit, the hem of the Catalyst is also adjustable via Cohaesive® cord locks, which are accessible through the hand pockets. A snow skirt keeps you protected on a big powder day and is easy to zip off when you don’t need or want it. And once the day is over, and you’re headed to the lodge, there is an interior zippered google pocket and a D-ring for your gloves on the interior hem. The Catalyst Snow Shell also comes integrated with a RECCO® rescue reflector at the hood brim because safety is always paramount.
