Bancroft Snow Jacket

The Bancroft Snow Jacket was designed with serious female skiers in mind. Equipped with all the details a skier wants and needs but also supremely warm and flattering, the Bancroft is mountain ready but would still look great on any city street. Constructed from a matte 2-layer shell with bonded baffles at the main body and sleeves and contrast wool panels throughout, the Bancroft is seam sealed, waterproof, wind resistant, and insulated with 800-fill-power grey-goose down. All the details that aid in a great day on the mountain were taken into consideration: There is a two-way center-front zipper to help you stay comfortable when sitting on the lift or gondola, as well as weatherproof zippers underneath the welt hand pockets. (Sidenote: There is also a weatherproof zipper on the super-convenient pass pocket on the wearer’s left sleeve.) The removable hood can be adjusted via Cohaesive® cord locks, and on days when you want to go without it, it’s easy to zip off. A concealed snap attachment at the center-front collar and a concealed zipper at the back neck means the aesthetic remains clean when you do choose to remove the hood. The Bancroft’s hem is also adjustable, using the same cord locks, which can be accessed through the hand pockets. Speaking of the hand pockets, they’re lined in an incredibly soft brushed tricot, as is the center-front draft flap so it feels good when it brushes against your face. In an effort to consider even the smallest detail, we put a hidden zippered pocket inside the wearer’s right-hand pocket so you can stash cash or credit cards without fear of them falling out.  For big days on the hill, the Bancroft is equipped with a snow skirt, but when the conditions aren’t optimal, it zips right out. Additionally, the recessed internal sleeve-cuff construction helps lock in body heat and keep the wearer warm. Safety, of course, is paramount as well. For that, we integrated this style with a RECCO® rescue reflector at the wearer’s back neck. 

The interior of the Bancroft Snow Jacket received the same attention to detail as its exterior: There is an interior mesh pocket with a magnet closure and one with a zipper, and a D-ring on the interior hem gives you a place to stash your gloves when you’re in the lodge.
