IATA Code Ad Campaign

We are suckers for clever ad campaigns, especially those that inspire you to get out and have an adventure, and this new campaign by Ogilvy & Mather for Expedia.com does just that.

They’ve used the multiple airport’s IATA codes to form travel related words and phrases. The campaign was created by Jon Morgan and Mike Watson who reviewed over 9000 three-letter codes from airports all over the world. Some of the ads include here are: WSH EWE WRE ERE [Brookhaven, Ewer Indonesia, Whangarei, Erave] and SUN SEA SND SEX [Sun Valley, Seattle, Seno, Sembach].
