Perched on the rocky mountainside above Valle de Guadalupe, the Endémico Resguardo Silvestre offers 20 modern “EcoLofts” each with their own spectacular view of the Mexican wine county below. As their name would suggest, the architectural firm Gracia Studio took local ecology into consideration when they designed the lofts. Built using Corten Steel, which naturally colors with age, the lofts will slowly take on the rusty hues of the hillside. The structure were also purposely elevated off the ground to reduce interaction with the soil, giving them the appearance of an upscale hunting blind. The 99 acres property also offers a pool with a breath-taking vista, a local winery, and gourmet slow-food restaurant. It just might be worth running the gauntlet down to Mexico for such a tranquil location.
